Olson and they had the joy of celebrating 60 years of marriage before Woody’s death in 1997. She has two children, DuAnn L. Johnson of Princeton and Richard A. (Sharon) Olson of DeKalb; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She has one brother, Calvin W. (Dorothy) Schuneman of Prophetstown; her brother Merle (Mildred) Schuneman is deceased.

Luella was a lifelong homemaker and the friend of many. She was a 1932 graduate of Manlius High School and is believed to be the oldest Manlius High School alumnus.
