Bradford promotes eighth-graders

BRADFORD — Bradford Junior High School held its eighth-grade promotion on May 16 for 21 students.

The following students were recognized for their accomplishments with special awards: Ashley Estes received the G. Russell Huey Science Award; Kendra Selby received the Bill Ellis Math Award, National Junior Honor Society Academic Excellence Award, the Alice Waldinger Language Arts Award and the American Legion Award; Emma Slichenmyer received the Gary Hughes Elementary Music Award; Delaney Kazubowski received the National Junior Honor Society Academic Excellence Award; and Cody Minder won the American Legion Award.
