BVHS students compete in Duck Stamp contest

MANLIUS — Bureau Valley High School art students entered the Illinois Junior Federal 2014 Duck Stamp contest.

The students studied the importance of the wetlands, their function and conservation. Students also researched their chosen duck, including specific characteristics and habitat. Duck stamp entries were created in colored and ebony pencil, oil and acrylic paint.

All students placed or received honorable mention.
