Kathryn Grampp

PRINCETON — Kathryn M. Grampp, 102, of Princeton passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Liberty Village of Princeton.

She was born March 19, 1912, in Princeton to Edward E. and Bessie C. (Pryor) Grampp. Kathryn graduated from Princeton High School and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Michigan. She taught eighth-grade social studies in Naperville and LaGrange before retiring back to Princeton.

Kathryn is survived by her nieces and nephews, Edward Grampp Jr., Carter Grampp, Brent Price and John Lurain, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward E. and Bessie C. (Pryor) Grampp, and her siblings, Marjorie Grampp, Edward Grampp, Louis Grampp and Elizabeth Lurain.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at the First Presbyterian Church, Princeton, with the Rev. Brian Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church.
