Spring Valley Police

Public intoxication

Wayne M. King, 67, of Spring Valley was charged with public intoxication in the 300 block of West Dakota Street at 9:40 a.m. May 27.

Warrant arrests

Brittany L. Turner, 24, of LaSalle was picked up in the 400 block of East St. Paul Street at 8:08 a.m. May 26 on a LaSalle County Warrant for domestic battery

Rigoberto Mejia, 21, of Spring Valley was picked up in the 200 block of West Dakota Street at 3:02 p.m. May 24 on a Bureau County Warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge

City ordinance violation

Jeremy P. Cooley, 26, of Spring Valley was charged with a city ordinance violation for high grass and abandoned vehicle at his home of 111 Elm Street at 11 a.m. May 26.

Battery

Devon T. Bertalot, 23, of Spring Valley was charged with battery in the 300 block of East Minnesota Street at 11:08 p.m. May 25.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Joseph L. Kohr, 18, of Spring Valley was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 100 block of East St. Paul Street at 12:01 a.m. May 25. Police also discovered he was wanted on a Bureau County Warrant for failure to appear on a separate unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor charge.

Domestic battery

Karsson B. Durham, 34, of Spring Valley was charged with domestic battery in the 100 block of West Erie Street at 9:15 p.m. May 23. On the same call, a 17-year-old Spring Valley male was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor
