Honoring the Wounded Warriors

Published: Friday, May 30, 2014 2:45 p.m. CDT

Staff members of Princeton Centrue Bank, Sullivan’s Foods staff, Princeton Fire Department members, and Princeton veteran Vern Sondgeroth pose with C. Ivan Stoltzfus (front row, second from right wearing a cap) in front of his 1948 John Deere Model A tractor, which he is driving across the country to build awareness and gain support for the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization supporting injured service members. Centrue joined forces with Sullivan’s Foods and hosted a picnic at the bank’s north branch. Stoltzfus was escorted to the bank with a Princeton Police and Princeton Fire Department escort, accompanied by Princeton veteran Vern Sondgeroth. All proceeds from the event go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
