Annual Beef & Ag Days Tractor Parade

The 10th annual Beef & Ag Days tractor parade will take place on Friday, June 20 in conjunction with the Bureau County Farm Bureau annual Tractor Trek.

The event will kick off at 7 a.m. with a freewill donation breakfast at the Farm Bureau. Tractors will depart from the Farm Bureau at 8:30 a.m. for a ride through rural Bureau County and parts of Lee County. There will be some stops along the way to look at fellow antique tractor collections.

Riders will meet back at the courthouse at 4 p.m. in time for refreshments and the traditional ribeye cookout for Beef & Ag Days.

An event fee will be $40 a person. The money raised will support the Bureau County Cattlemen Association’s scholarship program.

To ride, participants must show proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.The event is open to the public, and anyone with a 1970 or older antique tractor is invited to join in. The event is always looking for newcomers.
