Schools I have worked at: LaSalle-Peru Christian School, three years; Hall High School, 35 years.

Positions held: English and speech teacher (currently teach speech at Hall); head of the English Department (Hall 1976-80); library media specialist (at Hall currently); and advisor for Drama Club, Thespians, speech (forensics) team, debate team, Radio Club, National Honor Society (currently at Hall) and LEO Club (currently at Hall).

Changes I have seen: The two biggest things that I have seen in my 38-year teaching career are the changes in the family unit and the use of technology in education.

Enjoyed the most: Definitely working with the students at both LaSalle-Peru Christian School and at Hall High School. To me, there is no greater calling than that of “teacher.”

What I will miss: Working with my colleagues and my students.

Plans: I plan to spend more time with my husband, my children and my “GRAND”sons. I plan to study the Bible more and to pray more.
