Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association will meet on Friday

OTTAWA — The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association will meet at 7 p.m. June 13 at the University of Illinois Extension office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa. The meeting is free and open to the public.

The program this month will be for new and established beekeepers, how to prevent swarms and maintaining your hives. “This is a great forum to talk about our pollinators,” according to Paul Barrett, program coordinator for the U of I Extension.
