Memorial Day services held in New Bedford

The annual New Bedford Royal Neighbors Memorial Day service was held at the Green/Fairfield Cemetery on June 1. Joanne Nelson welcomed all who were present and Savannah Jensen led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. The invocation, address and benediction was given by the Rev. David Beebe (pictured). Patriotic readings were given by Marjorie Chesser and Joanne Nelson. Andrew Smith read the Gettysburg Address. The deceased members of the Royal Neighbors were recognized by Patsy Swanson. Patriotic songs were lead by Butch McNitch and Marvin Hartz. Hunter Klemme played taps for the memorial services.
