It was all about the flag

On Saturday, the residents of Victor Meadows in Princeton celebrated Flag Day with the installation of a flagpole in front of the subdivision’s community center. Participating in the ceremony were master of ceremonies Gary Hall who spoke on the history of the flag; Vern Sondergroth who spoke on the history of Flag Day; Bill Crowder (pictured) who played the bugle and spoke about the history of the bugle and the meaning of different calls; Baylie Hall who handed out flags to event-goers; and Carol and Quinn Johnston, who sang, “Proud to be an American.”
