PHS cheer camp

PRINCETON — The Princeton High School cheerleaders, along with coach Emily Moats, are hosting their annual PHS Summer Cheer Camp for Pre-K to 8th Graders from 9 a.m. to noon June 25-27.

PHS girls camp

PRINCETON – The Princeton High School girls basketball camp will be held July 7-11 for incoming Grades 3-12. Brochures are available at PHS and online at Cost is $55. For more information, call PHS coach Kevin Hieronymus at 815-866-9402.

IVYFL registration

SPRING VALLEY — Registration deadline for the 2014 Illinois Valley Youth Football League has been extended to July 1. Forms are available at Heartland Bank and Trust in Spring Valley. IVYFL is a tackle football league for youth entering grades 5-8 in the Hall, DePue and Putnam County districts and private schools in the Illinois Valley.

BV Color Races

MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley Booster Club will hold a Color Race starting at 8 a.m. Aug. 2 at Bureau Valley High School. Entry fee is $30 by July 1, increasing to $35 after. Entries including payment and shirt size may be sent to the Bureau Valley Booster Club, PO. Box 387, Manlius, Ill. 61338-0387.

SCGC Junior Golf

SPRING VALLEY— Spring Creek’s Junior Golf begins its 16th year. The students of the game learn proper golf procedures and etiquette. These junior golfers develop physical and mental golf game, combining proper fundamentals and golf etiquette.

There will be a Junior Camp June 9-13 with beginners meeting from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and intermediates fro 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

The junior golf league will be held at 8 a.m. on June 16, June 20, June 23, June 27 and June 30. the Illinois Valley Junior Golf Championship will be held Aug. 4. There will also be a Spring Creek Junior Member Tournament to be announced.
