Johnny Anderson

SHEFFIELD — Johnny Wayne Anderson, 65, of Sheffield passed away at 8:10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at his home in Sheffield.

Born May 28, 1949, in Washington, Ind., to John H. and Norma M. (Sizemore) Anderson, he married Sylvia Lovins Oct. 21, 1991, in Princeton. She survives.

He was a truck driver and mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in Vietnam.

Also surviving are three daughters, Christy Coile of LeRoy, Tina Rainwater of Sheffield and Alicia Voegele of Chenoa; three sons, John Anderson of Normal, Benjamin Anderson of Sheffield and Justin Anderson of Sheffield; six grandchildren; and one sister, Patty Killion of Ottawa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services.

Memorials may be directed to the Sheffield Rescue Squad.

The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, is in charge of arrangements.
