HUNTINGTON, Ind. — Huntington University 2014 graduate Alexandra Jones, a worship leadership major from LaMoille, has been honored with an award of distinction for outstanding scholarship and leadership in Christian worship. It was presented by President James R. Hart of the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies (IWS).
According to IWS, the award is given on the basis of scholarship, leadership and diligence. It includes a $1,000 scholarship for the first two selected students who enroll at IWS within a year and is renewable up to four semesters. To be eligible, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.7 and be recommended by a professor.
