The LCN team (pictured) was the winner in the food drive challenge with MTM Recognition. The two businesses faced off to see who could collect the most food and monetary donations between June 9 and June 20 to benefit local food pantries. LCN raised $894.40, and the company matched that total for a grand total of $1,788.80. The employees also collected 284 food items. MTM Recognition raised $411, and their employees collected 532 food items. A traveling trophy, donated by MTM Recognition, will be displayed at LCN until next year’s challenge. Jamie Smith, order processing representative, and Jolee Parks, human resources intern, led the LCN team. Ginny Bollinger, administrative coordinator, led the MTM team. Following the outcome, Bollinger said although LCN won the challenge, the real winners are the food pantries and people the two businesses have helped.
