The first ever Echo Bluff Adventure Day Camp was held recently with 126 campers and 37 volunteers attending the week-long event. “It was an awesome and amazing week,” said Samantha Brown, activities director at Echo Bluff. “It totally met my expectations.” Campers were able to do a variety of activities at four different stations like make bird feeders from recycled plastic bottles and planting herb gardens in recycled egg cartons, shooting paintball guns at targets at another station, making s’mores and popping popcorn over an open fire or using a 60-foot slip and slide or a 250-foot zipline. Campers were split up into four teams based on their age: Blue 4-5 year olds, Yellow 6-7 year olds, Red 8-9 year olds and Green 10 years old and up.
