Bureau County Sheriff


Travis Daniel Petersen, 21, of Princeton and Burton L. Conklin, 76, of Wyanet were involved in a two-vehicle crash at 1:49 p.m. June 26 on West Fourth Street in Wyanet.

Jared M. Hammalle, 20, of Ladd was involved in a single-vehicle crash at 6:11 a.m. June 30. He was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

Deer accidents

Cody T. Kennedy, 46, of Henry was traveling at 7:12 p.m. June 24 on Route 29, one-fourth mile south of the Interstate 180/Route 29 intersection in Leepertown Township, when his vehicle hit a deer.

A 17-year-old Buda girl was traveling at 10:54 p.m. June 28 on 975 East Street, one-fourth mile south of Route 6 in Concord Township, when her vehicle hit a deer.

Jonna C. Smith, 19, of Peoria was traveling at 6:18 p.m. June 29 on Route 26, at the intersection of 2460 East Street in Leepertown Township, when her vehicle hit a deer.

Barry A. Hughes, 51, of Bradford was traveling at 6:41 p.m. June 29 on 500 North Avenue, one-half mile east of 1525 East Street in Milo Township, when his vehicle hit a deer.

Criminal trespass

Jacquelyn P. Katrein, 23, of Spring Valley was charged with criminal trespass to a residence and with disorderly conduct at 5 p.m. June 27 in Ladd.

Disorderly conduct

Lloyd D. Schultheis Jr., 39, of Dalzell was charged with disorderly conduct at 6:30 p.m. June 27 in Dalzell.
