Pancake breakfast

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Athletic Boosters will be hosting an all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8-12:30pm on July 13 at the LaMoille Lions Club. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 6-10 and free for children 5 and under. There will also be a 50/50, bake sale and raffles.

JFL Football Camp

PRINCETON — The Princeton Junior Football League camp will be held July 21-25 at the Princeton High School practice fields. The fifth and sixth- grade camp will run from 3:30-5 p.m. and the seventh and eighth grade camp will run 5:30-8 p.m. Camp forms can be picked up at the high school or at

Bruins camp

PERU — St. Bede academy will be holding a pre-season camp for all interested football players senior through incoming freshman beginning Monday. Camp time will be 10:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. All players should report to the locker room.

Red Devil Youth Camp

SPRING VALLEY — The Hall Red Devil Youth Football Camp will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. July 7-11 for players entering Grades 5-8. Cost is $30 per camper, $20 each additional family member. Summer training

PRINCETON — The Princeton High School cross country team will be meeting on the following 1 dates and times during the month of July at the front of the high school. This is open to any incoming or current PHS boy or girl interested in cross country or running in general.

Monday, July 7 - 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 9 - 9 a.m.; Friday, July 11 - 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 15 - 9 a.m.; Thursday, July 17 - 7 p.m.; Monday, July 21 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 23 - 9 a.m.; Friday, July 25 - 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 29 - 9 a.m.; Thursday, July 31 - 7 p.m.

Matt Madness 3-on-3

DIXON — The inaugural Matt Madness 3 on 3 Tournament, honoring the life of Matthew Madsen Anderson, 15, who passed away March 1, will be held July 12 at Sauk Valley Community College. Registration opens at 7:15 a.m. with the first games starting at 8 a.m. The event will kick off with a display of Sky Divers.

After the tournament, the event will continue on to Cochran’s Pub with food, bags tournament, and silent auction at 6 p.m. At 9 p.m. The Cal Stage Band will begin their show.  People under 21 years of age are welcome until 9 p.m.
