Wallace’s art added to DeBrock Galleria

GENESEO — Cartoonist Greg Wallace of Walnut has joined DeBrock Galleria in Geneseo.

The multi-talented artist describes himself as a illustrator and writer “from the frozen tundra of Northern Illinois.” His comic strip “Nothing is not Something” — a semi-autobiographical chronicle of a young daydreamer who doodles his way through life — appears online at, a division of the Universal Press Syndicate.

Wallace’s other artistic pursuits include drawing, painting, airbrushing, sign painting and wood burning. He and his wife, Joyce, live in Walnut with their children, Zack and Izzy.

Featuring items by nearly 40 artists from eight states, DeBrock Galleria is located at 106 N. State St., across from the Central Theatre in Geneseo’s Historic Downtown. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
