Erma Robison

HENRY — Erma Jean Robison, 86, of Henry died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center in Henry.

Erma was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Toluca to John and Ethel (Faw) Folken. She married Wilmer Junior Robison in 1952. He survives in Henry.

Erma was a seamstress at the Toluca Garment Factory and also head of the housekeeping department at B.F. Goodrich in Henry. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sew, can and spoil her grandchildren.

Also surviving are her children, Debra Robison-Skinner of Magnolia and Vince (Sharon) Robison of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Britiany, Kristin (Jon) Johnson, Vince Jr. and Blair; two great-grandchildren, Trey and Makhi, and one on the way; and her sister-in-law, Mary Jean Folken of Streator.

Her parents and one brother, Raymond Folken, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, “Downtown Chapel”, 416 Edward St., Henry. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Josh Wasson officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Henry Cemetery, Henry.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to the family.
