Grand jury returns indictments

PRINCETON — A Bureau County grand jury returned the following indictments when it met in session July 11 at the Bureau County Courthouse in Princeton:

• Ashli J. Ciesielski, 27, of Spring Valley was indicted for the Class 1 felony of residential burglary. She is accused of entering a Spring Valley residence with the intent to commit a theft on June 14. Spring Valley Police Officer Bernard Larsen testified before the grand jury. Ciesielski is in custody with bond set at $10,000.

• There were three suppressed cases.

The indictments were presented to the grand jury by Bureau County State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann and First Assistant State’s Attorney Anthony Sciuto. The indictments on two suppressed cases were returned before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. The indictments on Ciesielski and one suppressed case were returned before Associate Judge C.J. Hollerich.
