Princeton Knights of Columbus celebrates 50th anniversary

On June 28, Princeton Knights of Columbus Council 5591 (Fr. Edward Farrell Council) celebrated its 50th anniversary with a Catholic Mass and dinner with family and relatives. Pictured with the Council’s original charter and grand knight, Dave Roden (back), are charter members Dick Olds, Dick DeBord, Lee Pence and Mick Kunkel. The Princeton K of C has been serving the local community through countless service projects, monthly food drives, yearly Tootsie Roll drives for Gateway Services and the Special Olympics, and so much more. Worldwide, The Knights of Columbus has more than 14,000 councils and 1.8 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan.
