Ken Schroeder’s July 15 commentary “In this case ...” contains an inaccuracy. He writes that “Hobby Lobby, a for-profit entity, objected to providing contraception on the grounds of religious belief ...”
According to all accounts, Hobby Lobby was willing to provide coverage of 16 different contraceptive methods but objected to four others because they are possible abortifacients. There is a big difference between preventing a pregnancy and deliberately ending it. You don’t have to be Catholic or Evangelical to see that abortion ends a developing human life.
