Bureau County United Way (BCUW) Director Andrea Anderson (center) and BCUW Board President Sue Spratt (right) present a check to one of their local not-for-profit agencies — the Bureau County Food Pantry/Tri County Opportunities. Director Vanessa Hoffeditz accepts the second quarter allocation check in the amount of $1,266.75.  Bureau County United Way raised funds to support the BC Food Pantry during their 2014 annual Campaign. The food pantry now helps a monthly average of 127 households or 315 individuals living in 10 towns/village of Bureau County. The purpose of the food pantry is to provide emergency food assistance to people who are experiencing emergency circumstances and do not have enough money to meet their basic food needs.
