PRINCETON — Through the years, the one act that most captivates the imagination of audiences is death defying stunts done in mid-air —127 feet in the air … and that’s exactly what you’ll see at the 159th Bureau County Fair in Princeton.
Galaxy Girl is part of the fair’s free entertainment and is presented by Heartland Bank, Mid American McDonald’s, Cornbelt Energy and Norberg Monuments.
Galaxy Girl is the newest extreme action superhero, and for obvious reasons. She begins her act by climbing 80 feet into the air and performs an incredible aerial gymnastic routine from a trapeze dangling with no safety nets or devices. Then she climbs to the 127-foot-high sway pole only to do more routines from the top of the pole as it bends and sways in the breeze. See the fair’s website, www.bureaucountyfair.com, for performance times, scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday.
This year’s fair will run Aug. 20-24.
