Rotary meeting

WALNUT — The Rotary Club of Walnut will host Tammy Saenz, director of the Energy Assistance Program of Tri-County Opportunities Council (TCOC), at noon Wednesday at the Walnut Cafe. Saenz will provide information on TCOC’s energy assistance program. Everyone is invited to attend.

MANLIUS — Bureau Valley Buddy Bags will meet at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius.


PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge will host a bingo night at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and sandwiches will be available for purchase. The lodge will continue to host bingo the first and third Tuesday of each month. For more information, call the lodge at 815-879-5261.

Blood drive

PRINCETON — The First United Methodist Church in Princeton will hold an American Red Cross blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4 in Fellowship Hall of the church, 316 S. Church St. For an appointment, call the Princeton office at 815-879-2231.

Fundraiser in Ladd

LADD — Ladd American Legion Auxiliary Post 938 will hold a chicken dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at Rip’s in Ladd. The donation is $7 and choices will be light, dark and strips; drinks will be extra. There will also be a bake sale, 50/50 drawing and flag raffle. Carry-outs are available at the front door by calling 815-894-3051 and home delivery is available in Ladd. Tickets are available at the door or from any Auxiliary member.

CMA picnic

PRINCETON — The Christian Motorcycle Association, local chapter Shekinah Riders, will have a picnic for members and their families from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at City-County Park in Princeton. The event will include family fun, games and food. Families should bring a dish to pass. For reservations, which are needed by Wednesday, contact Geneve at genevaeverson@gmail.com.
