Theresa Deisinger

MUNDELEIN — Theresa Diane (nee Sepanek-Sczcepanek) Deisinger, 87, of Mundelein since 1965 died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, in Libertyville.

Theresa was born March 29, 1927, in North Chicago, the daughter of Stanley (Sepanek) Szczepanek and Rose (nee Dzieglewicz) (Sepanek) Szczepanek. She was the loving mother of Robert (Julie) Deisinger of Orland Park, Deborah (Dan) Stuebe of Omaha, Neb., David Deisinger of Lindenhurst and Karen (Kevin) Forsythe of Crystal Lake; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bernice (Al) Wiggins.

Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 63 years, Lt. Robert Allen Deisinger, retired USN; her parents; her sisters, Rose (Joe) Semasko, Blanche (Walter) Zydkie, Georgia (Buford) Myers and Virginia (Motey) Matayosian; and her brother, Leonard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at St. Mary of the Annunciation (small Church) 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein. Interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Route 45 on Route 176) Mundelein.
