Logan will hold open house Aug. 18

PRINCETON — Logan Junior High School will hold an open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday.

The evening will begin with a presentation in Pannebaker Gymnasium. Students may bring their supplies and put them in their homerooms. Lists will be posted at that time. Students and parents can meet the Logan staff, tour the rooms and receive their schedules.

The first day of school is Tuesday. The doors will open at 7 a.m. Fifth- and sixth-grade students should enter Logan West at the Mercer Street entrance and proceed to Pannebaker Gym. Seventh- and eighth-grade students should enter Logan East at the Randolph Street entrance and proceed to the old gym.

Any student who does not appear on the list may stop in the office as they enter the school. The fifth- and sixth-grade office is located in Logan West off Mercer Street. The seventh- and eighth-grade office is located in Logan East off Randolph Street. Registration fees and proof of residency must be paid prior to the start of school in order to be assigned a homeroom and schedule.

Students will be given all first day information during homeroom on the Aug. 19. Many forms will need to be signed and returned to the school as soon as possible.

Logan Junior High School will dismiss early at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Regular dismissal is at 3 p.m. daily.
