More entries received in PJWC baby contest

PRINCETON — Nine more entries have been received in this year’s Princeton Junior Woman’s Club baby contest.

They are: Finley Lin Nally, 14 months, the daughter of Justin Nally and Jordin Nally of Princeton; Brixen Andrew Rapp, 5 months, the son of Andrew Rapp and Tara Maloy; Abigail Jean Michlig-Souba, 21 months, the daughter of Amanda Michlig and David Souba of Wyanet; Lily Ann Petersen, 13 months, the daughter of Karla Sibigtroth and Paul Petersen of Princeton; Bianca Noel Gerber, 10 months, the daughter of Shawn and Zepha Gerber of Princeton; Kaden Jaques, 11 months, the son of Jamie Jensen and Jacob Jaques of Princeton; Wesley Mattingly, 12 months, the son of Robert and Deanna Mattingly of Princeton; Gavin Stimeling, 21 months, the son of Michelle Wright and Steve Stimeling of Princeton; and Aiden Waugamon, 9 months, the son of Jill Waugamon of Wyanet.

Voting began Friday and will continue until noon Sept. 12. The photographs will be on display at Central Bank from Aug. 15 to Aug. 22, at Midland States Bank from Aug. 23 to Aug. 29, at Centrue Bank from Aug. 30 to Sept. 6 and at Heartland Bank from Sept. 6 until noon on Sept. 12.

Each photograph will have a corresponding canister in which to place votes. One dollar equals 100 votes. The winner will be notified Sept. 12 and introduced during that evening’s Homestead Festival awards ceremony and pork dinner/ice cream social.

Prizes will be given to the winners, as well as the first boy and girl runners-up. All winners and their parents will have a spot in the Homestead Festival parade.

The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club will donate all the proceeds from the contest back to the community through various projects and organizations.
