Hurricanes take second

The Bureau County Hurricanes baseball team placed second in the Beloit (Wis.) Bombers “Tournament of Champions.” The Hurricanes were comprised of 11 year old boys from Princeton and Spring Valley teams. On the first day, the boys from Bureau County won 21-2 and 10-0. On day 2,  the boys won 3-2 and 7-2 before falling 6-1 in the championship game.
