The Princeton Tiger golfers conquered Mendota on its home course, 173-189, Thursday at the Mendota Golf Club.

Sophomore Colby Robbins gained medalist honors for the first time this season with a 38. Also for PHS, Ian Nichols had a 40, Colton Erven a 47, Miles Rose a 48 and Josh Eggers and Austin Jamison both had 56s.

Mendota was led by Jaron Robinson (40).

Colin Pierson (44) was medalist, but Mendota won the JV meet 203-210. Also scoring for PHS were Bryce Nyman (52), Dillon Wright (55) and Trevor Bickett (59) with Conner Alter adding a 61 and Seth Torchia a 73.

At Chapel Hill: Princeton defeated Putnam County in the Tigers’ home debut Wednesday, 170-191. Nichols claimed medalist honors for the second day in a row with a 38. Also scoring for the Tigers were Robbins (41), Rose (47) and Erven (47). For PC, Caleb Dzierznski had a 42, Mitch Aimone a 45, Joe Cyr a 48 and Austin Pflibsen a 55.

PHS’ Eggers (43) was the JV medalist with Nyman adding a 47.

At Baker Park: Host Kewanee edged St. Bede 160-168 on the links Thursday. Josh Crofton of Neponset had the high score of the day for the Boilers at 36. For St. Bede, Joe Dudek had a 38, Jack Kunkel a 42, Jarett Olson a 43 and Joe Kim a 45.

Kenneth Wiltse paced the St. Bede JV at 46.
