The Hennepin Power Station recently donated $3,000 for instructional equipment for Illinois Valley Community College’s revitalized agriculture program. IVCC ag instructor and program coordinator Willard Mott (from left) joined IVCC President Jerry Corcoran, Hennepin Power Managing Director of Plant Operations Byron Veech and administrative manager Jennifer Pembleton for the check passing. The equipment will be used across several courses including crop science and soil science. “Hennepin Power has long been a generous supporter of our college,” said Corcoran. “This gift will provide top-notch equipment to prepare students for productive ag careers.”
