OGLESBY — New student attendance is strongly recommended for Illinois Valley Community College’s spring preview from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in Room D225.

Students will experience an overview of IVCC services including student support services, financial aid, scholarships and Jacobs Library. A free lunch will be provided; reservations are not required.

In addition to learning how to be successful in their first semester, new students can obtain their student ID card and parking permit, purchase textbooks, find their classes, learn about IVCC clubs and organizations, set up their student email account and meet faculty, staff and fellow students.

For information, contact admissions by calling 815-224-0439. Spring classes begin Wednesday, Jan. 11.
