Spring Valley Police

A vehicle driven by Austin L. Shan, 21, of Spring Valley rolled over on Marquette Road South near Rock Island Street at 12:43 a.m. March 11. Shan was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving in the wrong lane and unlawful delivery of alcoholic liquor to a minor. There were three passengers in the vehicle who were taken to St. Margaret’s Hospital by 10/33 Ambulance with minor injuries including Cerise D. Ziel, 18, of Ottawa; Matt M. Turner, 21, of Spring Valley and Ashleigh N. Smith, 22, of Pontiac. Ziel was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

A two-vehicle accident involving a 17-year-old Spring Valley girl and Edward E. Fultz, 77, of Spring Valley occurred on Spalding Street near Cleveland Street at 2:37 p.m. March 10. The 17-year-old was charged with failure to yield.

A two-vehicle accident involving Drayson E. OConnell, 34, of Granville and Janis R. Davito, 65, of Spring Valley occurred in the parking lot of Spring Valley Supermarket at 4:35 p.m. March 10.
