PRINCETON — Anna Catherine Hamblin, 85, of Princeton passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, in Des Plaines, Ill.
She was born Nov. 2, 1931, in Carmi, Ill., to Homer “Martin” and Florence (Wooten) Hamblin.
She worked as a cost accountant at Western Electric/AT&T.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. She was a United Methodist lay speaker for a number of years.
Surviving are two sisters, Mildred (Clem) Evans of Libertyville, Ill., and Mary Garland of Sanford, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Hamblin.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, at the First United Methodist Church in Princeton with the Rev. Brian Gilbert officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, in Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the chapel of the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton.
