Hewitt-Plumley reunion on July 23

MANLIUS — The 97th annual Hewitt-Plumley reunion will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at the Mullin Memorial Park in Manlius. Family members should bring a meat dish, drinks and another dish to pass, plus their own table service. In case of inclement weather, the reunion will be held at the Manlius Sportsman’s Club.

Festival 56 production

PRINCETON — Festival 56 will present the comedy-drama “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” Tuesday, July 18, through Sunday, July 23, at the Grace Performing Arts Center, 316 S. Main St. in Princeton. Instruments of Faith will perform

WYANET — The Bureau Township Community Church will host a free concert by Instruments of Faith, a Belleville-based Southern Gospel ministry of Christian men, at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at the church, 19126 Wyanet-Walnut Road. Instruments of Faith has been performing for 17 years under the leadership of Gary Brannaman, and travels extensively. A love offering will be taken to help the group offset their travel expenses. Turkey shoot on Aug. 6

PRINCETON — The Joe Myer Park fundraiser “turkey shoot” will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. The event is open to the public and chaperoned youth are welcome. Participants can bring their shotgun and .22 rifle and shells will be provided. Food, water, pop and raffles will be available. The event will include turkey, ham and money boards, and splatter boards. The park is at 16700 2625 East St., Princeton, 6 miles east of Princeton on Route 6 then north 2 miles. Lunch planned in Tiskilwa

TISKILWA — The women of the Tiskilwa Community Church will serve lunch on Saturday, Aug. 5, immediately after the Pow Wow Days parade until 1 p.m. at the TIskilwa Community Church. Rag rugs, table runners and place mats, dishcloths, vanilla and cookbooks will also be sold.

Dean reunion on July 30

TISKILWA — The 80th Dean family reunion will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at West Park in Tiskilwa. Those attending should bring drinks, table service and covered dishes according to the size of their family. The 2017 officers are Don Wooden, president; Mary Wooden, vice president; and Alice Schindel, secretary.
