80th annual Dean reunion held on July 30

TISKILWA — Seventy-seven people attended the 80th annual Dean reunion on July 30 at West Park in Tiskilwa.

Don Wooden gave the table grace followed by a picnic dinner. After the meal, Wooden, president, presided over the meeting.

Recorded births were: a son, Bryson David, to Jason and Heather Dean; a daughter, Claire Elizabeth, to Aaron and Cassandra Stout; a daughter, Vada Nicole, to Stephanie and Michael DiPietro; and a daughter, Elizabeth Gayle, to Timothy and Kate Feurer.

Recorded deaths were: Kathleen E. Dean, Virginia Taylor, Robert Harrison, John Ridley, Stanley Ridley and Richard Morro.

One marriage was recorded, Rachele Reidel to Colleen Chapaton.

The oldest members present were Mae Gall and Louis D. Dean, and the youngest were 1-week-old Bryson David Dean, the son of Jason and Heather Dean, and 5-month-old Elizabeth Gayle Feurer, the daughter of Timothy and Kate Feurer. Prizes were also awarded in several different categories.

After the meeting, family members participated in the egg toss and balloon toss.

The 81st Dean reunion will be at 12:30 p.m. July 29, 2018, at West Park in Tiskilwa.

The 2018 officers are Janice Bickett, president; Tom Bickett, vice president; and Alice Schindel, secretary.
