Jensen and McBride wed April 14 in Texas

Lacey L. Jensen and Ryan D. McBride were united in marriage April 14 at The Springs in Weatherford, Texas. Andrew Schmeck, brother-in-law of the bride, officiated at the service.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Valerie Jensen of Tiskilwa. The groom is the son of Dennis and Teri McBride of Potter, Neb.

The bride wore an ivory ruffled mermaid-style gown with lace overlay, with a birdcage veil which was first worn by her cousin. She wore a pearl bracelet that belonged to her late maternal grandmother, Harriett Miller, and cowboy boots. She carried sunflowers, white roses and greenery.

Brookelynn Schmeck, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and Dawn Schroeder, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandi Wiig, cousin of the bride, Heidi Zehr, friend of the bride, Crystal Miller, twin sister of the groom, and Halli Ford, sister of the groom. Sarah Sanger, friend of the bride, was the bride’s personal assistant.

Dustin Paul, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Stull, friend of the groom, Steve Wangler, friend of the groom, Shane McGooden as a groomsman, friend of the groom, Beau Jensen, brother of the bride, and Lance Jensen, brother of the bride. Ushers were Jarred Wiig, cousin of the bride, Briley Worthington, friend of the groom, Scott Miller, brother-in-law of the groom, and Billy Ford, brother-in-law of the groom.

Hadley Wiig, a cousin’s daughter, and Rhyder Ford, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Oaks Ford, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

The bride received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in human development from Iowa State University and a master’s of counseling: LPC and School Counseling from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a third-grade teacher at T A Sims Elementary School in Fort Worth, Texas.

The groom has a degree in landscape horticulture from the University of Nebraska. He works for American Hat Co. at the Best Hat Store in Fort Worth. 

The couple are making their home in Weatherford, Texas.
