MENDOTA — Nina Fuller, speaker, writer and founder of Living Proof Testimonies, shared her prolife testimony at a fundraising banquet for Abigail Center of Mendota on Sept. 14 at Senica’s Oak Ridge, LaSalle.
Fuller, the mother of three sons and two daughters, spoke of giving birth to a child with Down’s Syndrome and then adopting another Down’s Syndrome child. Fuller’s daughter, Tess, spoke briefly and closed the evening with prayer.
She is the co- author of the book,” Refined By Fire” and author of “Special Strength for Special Parents.”
Registered nurse Betty Pappas, the center’s director, expressed appreciation
to all the friends and churches who have supported Abigail Center with time, talents, and finances. The center is located at 1610 Strobel Ave., Mendota.
Abigail Women’s Center offers free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, sexual integrity education, options counseling, and material goods assistance. The board, staff, and volunteers strive to promote a culture of life in the Illinois Valley.
