WYANET — Marilyn Sue Johnson, 70, of Wyanet passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
Born May 21, 1947, in Princeton to Frank Virden and Mary L. (Daley) Johnson, she married Curtis L. Johnson Oct. 23, 1965, in the Tiskilwa Methodist Church. He survives.
She had worked at the Ace Distribution Center in Princeton.
She was a member of the Manlius Baptist Church, the Wyanet Village Board for many years and the Wyanet Old Car Club, and was co-sponsor of the Prairie State Long Rifle Show.
Also surviving are one son, Robert (Mandi) Johnson of Wyanet; three grandchildren, Trent (Kayleigh) Johnson, Derrick (Emily) Johnson and Katelin (Mark) Skelley; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Samuel Johnson; and her siblings, Lyle (Carole) Johnson of Lake Thunderbird, Larry (Kay) Johnson of Tiskilwa and Carol (Dean) Rowe of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, in the Bunker Hill Church in Buda with the Rev. John Erickson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet.
Her family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the church.
Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.
Arrangements are through the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton.
