Festival 56 will present ‘The Songs of John Prine’

PRINCETON — Heartache Tonight tribute band will perform “The Songs of John Prine” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Festival 56’s Grace Performing Arts Center.

The evening of acoustic music is sponsored by Blue Jay Way Records and celebrates the timeless songs of Chicago-born singer-songwriter and American icon John Prine. The band will play their own arrangements of Prine classics, including “Sam Stone,” “Hello in There,” “Illegal Smile” and “Angel from Montgomery.” Heartache Tonight last performed at Festival 56 with an acoustic tribute to the Eagles’ Hotel California album.

The Grace Performing Arts Center is located at 316 S. Main St. in Princeton and is completely accessible with ample parking nearby. The box office will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct/ 14, and from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
