(Bureau Valley/Fr.): The BV freshman promises to be the top returning runner for new head coach Daniel Sinclair next season. She placed 13th at conference and 22nd at regional.
Lauren McMillan (Princeton/Jr.): McMillan led PHS from season’s start to finish once again. She led the Tigresses in their own Gary Coates Invitational, placing 28th. She also placed seventh in the Three Rivers Meet and 23rd in the Rock Falls Regional.
Nataleigh Nugent (Bureau Valley/Sr.): The Storm senior filled in nicely behind ace Haley Weidner as BV’s No. 2 runner. She placed third at conference, 11th at regional and 31st at sectional.
Jenna Parente (Hall/Jr.): The Lady Devils’ No. 1 runner made her way to sectional as the first individual qualifier from the Seneca Regional, placing seventh overall (22:07). She was the third highest local runner in the Three Rivers Conference Meet, placing fourth. She finished 50th at sectional.
Haley Weidner (Bureau Valley/Sr.): The two-time BCR Runner of the Year wrote her final Storm chapter by placing 47th in the IHSA 1A State Meet. She was the Three Rivers Conference runner-up and placed seventh at the Rock Falls Regional and eighth at the Oregon Sectional.
