This is an article of interest for Christians all over the world. If you believe in Padre Pio, a Capuchin priest who bore the stigmata, then listen to what he says in the article, “Padre Pio and The Three Days of Darkness.”
“A terrible catastrophe shall come upon the entire world. It will be a terrible chastisement, never before experienced, and he states how unconcerned people are regarding his statements. Also, how indifferent they are in preparing themselves for these occurrences!
“The sins of men have multiplied beyond measure: Irreverence in the church, sinful pride committed in sham religious activities, lack off true brotherly love, etc. .... The world is filled with iniquity, and sadly people are without repentance.
“Hurricanes of fire will pour forth from the clouds and spread over the entire world! Storms, bad weather, and earthquakes will cover the earth for two days. Satan will be in control and will triumph! But after three nights, the earthquakes and fire will cease. On the following day the Sun will shine again. Angels will descend from Heaven and will spread the spirit of peace over the earth.”
Padre Pio also states what we have to do in our homes. He says, pray and do not go outside the house. Lock all doors and windows. Talk to no one outside the home. Be sorry for your sins and beg the Immaculate Heart of Mary for protection.
Today, we, especially in the United States, are concerned over the Santa Rosa, California, fires where thousands of homes were destroyed, and many people had to leave their homes in some areas because of the fires in California.
The chastisement will be much, much, much worse than the fires in Santa Rosa, California, when fires and earthquakes will cover the whole earth, in the three days of darkness. It will be a calamity disaster beyond anyone’s comprehension.
Padre Pio’s statements on the chastisement are similar to what the Message of Akita stated on Oct. 13, 1973, when the first statements says, If people do not repent, God will send a punishment and it will be more serious that the Great Flood. (At that time, the only people who survived in the world were Noah and his family.) The second statement says, fire will fall from the sky and most of humanity will be destroyed, even the good with the bad, neither priests nor the faithful will be spared, and survivors will envy the dead. However, there are four more chastisements in the message of Akita.
For those who believe in Padre Pio, these statements are frightening. All we can do is to keep the faith and pray to lessen such a catastrophe.
