PRINCETON — The 2017 Princeton High School volleyball award winners were recently named.
Th varsity Most Valuable Players award was shared by Anna Murray, Corinne Peterson and Kate Vigars. Murray won the Leadership Award and was a four-year varsity player. She also shared the Sportsmanship award with Katelyn Ross.
Peterson shared the Hustle/Attitude award with Olivia Vergamini and Kendra Cain. Sara Grieff was named the Most Improved while Mikayla Wilhelm was recognized as the student assistant coach.
McKenzie Coleman was named the sophomore squad’s most valuable player. Other sophomore awards went to Sophie Rutledge (Sportsmanship), Olivia Chastain (Hustle/Attitude) and Anna Robbins (Most Improved).
Abby Pence was named as the most valuable player for the freshmen while Brynn Hieronymus and Kaelin Russelburg shared the sportsmanship award. Other freshmen award winners were Carli Wright (Hustle/Attitude) and Audi Jennings (Most Improved).
