Testing for private pesticide applicators

HENRY — University of Illinois Extension – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit will offer a testing-only session and certification program for private pesticide applicators.

Preregistration is required. Certification is required to apply restricted-use pesticides. The session is in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Testing-only will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the University of Illinois Extension - Marshall/Putnam Office, 509 Front St. in Henry.

To reserve a seat, call the Extension office at 309-364-2356 by Saturday, Jan. 20. There is no charge for the testing. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please indicate when registering.

Private Applicator Manuals and workbooks can be purchased online or at local Extension offices. Extension offices are located in Princeton, Ottawa, Henry and in Oglesby on the IVCC campus.
