Lenten music and luncheon

PRINCETON — Hampshire Colony Congregational Church in Princeton will host a Lenten music, meditation and luncheon Wednesday, March 14, at the church, 604 S. Church St. in Princeton. Meditation will be from 12:10 to 12:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary and the luncheon will be served in the Fellowship Hall. Music will be provided by Roy Van Opdorp. The menu will be ham loaves. A free-will donation will be accepted. The church is handicapped accessible.

4-H club will host breakfast

MANLIUS — The Manlius Boys and Girls 4-H Club will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Manlius Sportsmen’s Club on Main Street. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for ages 5-12 and free for ages 4 and under. There will also be a bake sale.

Open Table supper in Sheffield

SHEFFIELD — A free Open Table supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 11, hosted by the Sheffield Methodist Church. The menu will be green bean hamburger tater tot casserole, applesauce and dessert.

St. Louis Parish fish fry

PRINCETON — St. Louis Parish in Princeton will host an all-you-can-eat Fry-Day Night Lenten fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16. The menu will be baked and fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese, baked potato, coleslaw, desserts, water, juice, coffee and tea. Carry-outs will be available. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, with children 2 and under free.

Breakfast planned in Arlington

ARLINGTON — St. Patrick Parish in Arlington will serve a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 18, in the Bishop Franz Hall. This all-you-can-eat breakfast will feature “Nuco’s” sausage, pancakes, made-to-order eggs, toast and beverage. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for ages 6 to 10 and free for age 5 and under. Carry-outs will be available. Tickets are available at the door.

Easter egg hunt in Malden

MALDEN — The Malden eighth-grade cheerleading squad will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, on the lawn area behind the school. Any child age 9 months to fourth grade is welcome. Prizes will be awarded. Everyone will find eggs and receive a goody bag. In case of rain, the egg hunt will be in the school.

Upcoming blood drives

MALDEN/PRINCETON — The American Red Cross has announced two upcoming bloodmobiles on March 16. One will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Malden Grade School and another will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Allegion-LCN in Princeton. Fundraiser set for April 10

LADD — The Ladd After School Program will hold a Rip’s chicken dinner fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. Tickets are $9 per person. The event will also include a bake sale and 50/50. Carry-outs will be available by calling 815-894-2200. All proceeds will benefit the Ladd After School Program/YSB.

Easter egg hunt in Ohio

OHIO — The Ohio Public Library will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at the library. After all the eggs are found, there will be treats and some craft activities.
