Pancake breakfast in LaMoille

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Lions Club, 308 Howard St. in LaMoille. The menu will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, toast, milk, juice and coffee. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for ages 5 to 10 and free for those under 5. All proceeds will support the Ohio Booster Club.

Wild game supper Feb. 24

MANLIUS — The Manlius Sportsmen’s Club will host a wild game supper from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. The cost is $20, which includes a meal the member and a guest.

Book and gift fair planned

KEWANEE — OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee will hold a Collective Goods (Books are Fun) book and gift fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, in the east and west conference rooms. The event is open to the public. This bi-annual shopping event will feature discounted fiction and non-fiction books for all ages, gifts, toys, stationary, games and home décor.

Festival 56 announces auditions

PRINCETON — Local auditions for Festival 56’s summer season will take place during a free audition workshop at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Grace Performing Arts Center, 316 S. Main St., Princeton. The workshop and auditions are open to any talented dancer, singer or actor age 14 and up. Auditioners do not need have prepared material. During the combined workshop/auditions, casting director Laura Brigham will reveal the secret to a less nerve-racking audition experience. Participants must pre-register by calling the box office at 815-879-5656.

Quarter auction announced

PRINCETON — A quarter auction for Bishop’s Small Dog Rescue will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Princeton Elks Lodge, 1105 E. Peru St. in Princeton.

Pancake and sausage breakfast

WALNUT — The Walnut Winners 4-H Club will hold its annual all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 18, with serving from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Walnut Senior Citizens Center on Main Street. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under. Carry-outs will be available.

Winter dinner in Wyanet

WYANET — The Wyanet United Methodist Women will host a winter dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18. The menu will be ham loaf, roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, tossed salad, bread, dessert and drink. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for grade school and free for 5 and under. The public is invited. The church is at 112 W. Main St. in Wyanet. Proceeds will go toward various mission projects.

Human trafficking awareness program set for Feb. 21

PRINCETON — The United Methodist Women will host a program on human trafficking at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in Cushing Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 316 S. Church St. in Princeton. The speaker will be Kathy Perretta, anti-human trafficking advocate and leadership and planning team member of Protect Me Project’s Prayer Bowl/Super Bowl.
