The Illinois Family Institute gives voters a great analysis of where politicians stand on fiscal and social issues by asking 12 probing questions. There is a stark contrast between Jeanne Ives and our current governor of Illinois.
I first answered all 12 questions presented in the Voter Guide to assess what I believe would be the answers of a true conservative. Jeanne Ives answered all 12 out of 12 correctly, while our current governor answered only two out of 12 correctly.
While the contrast between James Marter and our current U.S. congressman isn’t as great, it’s certainly a matter for concern. James Marter answered all 12 out of 12 correctly, 100 percent. But, our current congressman only got seven out of 12 correctly, 58 percent.
And that, my friends, is a failing score.
Let’s be smarter and send Marter to Congress.
And, sending a young, single man into the Washington, D.C., swamp is really not a good idea! James Marter has been married 32 years and has four children. I’ve met his wife. She will provide stability and a strong moral compass for James.
Be smarter, vote Marter!
