Bake sale on Saturday

PRINCETON — The Tri-County Humane Society will have a bake sale from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Tractor Supply in Princeton. Proceeds will help support the Tri-County Humane Society.

Dance at Moose Lodge

PRINCETON — A dance, with music by The Generics Goodies Band, will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Princeton Moose Lodge, 1339 N. Euclid Ave. Princeton. The dining room will begin serving food at 5:30 p.m. and the dance will start at 7 p.m.

Wyanet firemen’s brunch

WYANET — The Wyanet firemen’s brunch will be Sunday, April 22, at the Wyanet VFW, with serving from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will serve pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy. There will also be a 50/50 and raffles.

Chicken family style dinner

LAMOILLE — A chicken family style dinner, presented by the LaMoille Lions Club, will be served from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the LaMoille Lions Club, 308 Howard St. in LaMoille. The dinner will include chicken, fries, pasta, salad, bread and butter, and dessert. Tickets are $9 for adults, $4.50 for ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under.

IVCC Wind Ensemble concert

OGLESBY — Illinois Valley Community College’s Wind Ensemble will offer a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre.
