I recently read an article by Father Paul Kramer, stating that our church is in transition — what Pope Benedict XVI termed the “Church of the Future,” where Pope Benedict XVI states that we cannot really imagine what the future church will be like.
Father Kramer believes the “Church of the Future” is here. And he quotes Pope Pius X’s chilling remarks regarding the apostasy that is to come. Pope Pius X said that this apostasy will be organized in every country for the establishment of a “One-World Church,” which shall have neither dogmas, nor hierarchy, neither discipline for the mind, nor curb for the passions, and which, under the pretext of freedom and human dignity, will bring about a church not based on God’s laws but will satisfy everyone’s selfish wants, emotions and desires.
Those in power not only want a “One-World Church,” but they want a “One-World Government,” too. These governments will inform those who work that the opportunity to rise above their circumstances will not exist anymore. Obama predicted this during his administration. However, President Trump believes that to make America great again, the middle class has still the opportunity to rise above their circumstances by bringing back the basic industries that were taken away by other countries.
According to Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Satan will set up a counter-church that will be the imitation of the Catholic Church. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the church, but in reverse and emptied of its “divine” content.
Also, according to Bishop Cosme do Amaral, of Leiria, Fatima, who declared: “The Secret of Fatima speaks neither of atomic bombs, nor of nuclear warheads, nor of SS-20 missiles.” To identify the Secret of Fatima with a nuclear holocaust is to distort the meaning of the message, which, he has insisted, concerns only our faith, and he states, “The loss of faith of a continent is worse than the annihilation of a nation.”
This is already happening in China, where Cardinal Joseph Zen, the official voice for China’s Catholic population, is vehemently declaring that the Vatican is “selling out the Catholic Church in China.”
Even today, we have cardinals opposing cardinals when it comes to dogma. In the not-too-distant future, whatever you do is going to be OK, based on “your” interpretation of the Gospel, because everyone will not live by the restrictive, doctrine dogma that Christ instructed the apostles to follow.
Years ago, Jesus told those 11 apostles to go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to observe all that he commanded. Filled with the Holy Spirit, these 11 apostles changed the world to believe in Christianity.
From the one Christian church that began 2,000 years ago, there are many, many churches today. People have to understand why, and it is because churches are started based on the views of the people who start them, and are incompatible with the Catholic Church and not on the views of what Jesus commanded them to do.
